!?Thread necromancy
!?Thread necromancy
I have HD600, HD58X, and HD565s, and have tried the Yaxi leather pads on all three. Didn't like them at all on the HD58X (they bloat the already strong bass). They were Ok on the HD600s, but I preferred the stock pads. They work quite well with the HD565s, as they help balance out the low end, and HD565s can handle a little mid-range taming. I enjoy this configuration. Funny thing... I was wearing my HD565/Yaxis when I noticed this thread revival.Anyone tried leather pads on the 565? Impressions? Something like this

NW. And just to be clear, I did not mean to imply that the HD565s are inferior, and thus benefit most from the Yaxis. Each of the three has its strengths. I find live recordings sound best via the HD565s, as they sound more spacious. Thanks
