I'm new to this forum and I plan to replace my stock cables with some of my own design, but I'm not sure what final gauge to shoot for. I'm thinking between 26 to 30 gauge when all the circle mils of my wire are added up. Anyone know for sure what gauge is used in the stock cables? I could measure current ones with a micrometer but don't think it would be accurate enough so I thought I would ask the people who are really in the know,

I believe the stock cable is 24 gauge. Cardas replacement is also 24.
