I have the e4c and sr80

which of these 2 would sound better through my ipod classic unamped/portable amp'd?

which would complement the headphones i already have?

I have the Shure e4c and had the A950LTD. The A950LTDs sounded great out of my 5.5G ipod and had no problem being driven from it, or my laptop. It complemented the Shures quite nicely, supplying bass that the Shures lacked. It also has a slight recessed midrange, while the Shures excel in that area.
