I bought a set of HD595 a couple of days ago.

As I was listening Norah Jones from my iPod, I hear that the vocal part 'overflows' and the headphones cannot handle the mid frequency. Consequently the sound is a mixture of hissing and smudgy music.

I was expecting a (relatively) clear sound all across the frequencies... would this have anything to do with the file itself? (from iTunes @ 224K)

Now, as the music gets louder the hiss gets louder... the set must be defective..

Hm.. listening from my PC did not create no hiss or made it smudgy.
Maybe getting an amp might help.
