Had the 569 for six months, really liked it but preferred the headband on my 579 so decided to get the 598cs which by all accounts is identical to 569 except cosmetics.
Well the 598cs sounds like the 569 with a major drop in bass impact.
The 569 has excellent bass going down to 20hz in my tests, the 598 has similar extension but is missing a boost in the 50-70hz range.
Can't see any extra damping or internal differences, clamping feels a little less on the 598, could it be that?

Has no one done a side by side yet? Im genuinely curious as to why no one has yet.
