Hi, I'm new to the forum and I have the equipment mentioned above and I'm looking for an amp that will drive the headphones to increase the fidelity.
What is the correct type of amp to drive heaphones with a low ohmage?
High current or High voltage?
Lol I ask alot of q's.
Note: I love the sound of my senns I just want to improve it and living in South Africa makes all purchases bank-breaking. I paid at the time the us equivalent of 160 usd$! and thats the cheapest offer around.
(Grado Sr-125's would be 30$ more expensive)

Would these improve the sound at all or would I need to look into another amp

This probably should be in the amp forum instead of the headphone forum. But yes, you very likely would enjoy the HD555 more with either of those amps.
