Just curious. I have the 555's now and they're really nice, but I can't help but wonder if the 580's would have been a better buy..... I was originally turned off by the fact that I use a CMOY, but I'm starting to think that I will have no problem driving these things since I only turn the CMOY up to about 25% max to really bump the 555's.
I use these almost exclusively for music. My tastes are:
Classic jazz (coltrane, miles davis, etc...)
Hip-Hop (not radio/MTV fake-thug stuff, much more musical and poetic)
Electronica (house, hard techno, drum n bass)
Some rock, but not much (Hendrix, smashing pumpkins)
I like a little bit of bass, but I'm not a bass-head.
