Just wanted to share a mic mod I have been doing on hd555/595s. Hope you guys don't mind my laziness, but here is a link to my original how to:

I have cleaned up the mod quite a bit overtime and here is one of the HD555 that I recently finished up:

Very cool! I did something much more ghetto with my 555's... with a radio shack mic and velcro.

Yeah, I had been doing something similar with a metal bracket velcroed to the bottom on the earcup and then the mic attached via heatshrink tubing... this idea was def not mine... actually i saw this one posted somewhere in this forum on Beyerdynamic DT770s I believe.

The mic jack addition is something I had been thinking about doing for a long time... finally got sick of having the second cable
