I have a pair of Senn 545. The left channel has gone dead. I've verified that it's not the cable.

Does anyone have experience with getting Sennheisers fixed? About how much will it cost to replace a driver? They're not under warranty.

It looks like Sennheiserusa doesn't stock this item any longer.

The part no. for the left capsule is 57392 , but i can't find a dealer in the US or Canada which has it. Jan Meier might be able to help, but Sennheiser Germany lists a lead time of 2 to 3 weeks before it's in stock again....

I had exactly the same problem with mine after few months only: it was not the extern cable but the soldering inside the left cup that broke.
I was very easy to fix, I just dismount the left cup and resoldered the small cable to the driver.
