hi

i own a pair of hd485's and just recently bought a 2nd pair of headphones
HD595's now i must admit i havnt run the 595's in yet
but i thought the 595's would of sounded far better than the 485's even from the start .. ive owned my 485s for about 6 months and they have had plenty of use . im using a laptop and a bithead amp , the 485s sound much more clear and the treble is well defined also the sound stage on the 485s sound better where i can hear different instruments better

The 595s sound a bit muffuled and dont seem to like being turned up very loud ?? im a noob to this, so would i just need to run the 595's in or dosnt this sound right ??

please help

In my short time with the [potentially defective] HD485; I found the HD555 to be significantly better.

But I must agree, out of the box, they were a slight disapointment and have improved exponentially. How much of this is psychological, Im not sure. All I know is that I love them now
