The HD201, by a long shot. Don't even think about buying a 202 over a 201 (for that matter, ignore the 212 in favor of the 201).

I think the 201 is better because it's more balanced and refined. Bassheads would prefer the 202. The 212 is better than both.

The 212 is also mostly for bassheads imho. I used to own one, and touogh it could be nice and musical with some bass oriented music the bass was still to much for me. There's just to much of it

I've not heard 201, but I can say 202 has a bit too much bass for me. whenever I have a chance to plug them into the computer or mp3-player I lower everything under 60 hz or else I get tired of listening very fast.

I still think 202 is good for their price. but I would disadvice you to go for them unless you have a chance to EQ them.
