Yo,

Been here a couple of months and i am short of cash (cure you head-fi

)
so i am saving up for the 650. I plan to get an amp but i want to buy here to save a bit of money

. Anything else i should know about the 650, the type of amp and the cost this might all add up to.

Thank you for all replies and sorry if this post is not in a certain area, i wanted to post one post rather than several about the amp, the price etc.

I'd say the least amount of money you can spend on a 650 with an amp would be about $420....ish...

Some people posted that they found HD650 for about $300 or just over that..(ebay i think was one of the places). Then a go-vibe or something of that sort would put you up to over $400.

I found that the HD650's require a very good amp!

You can enjoy them with a cheaper amp, but IMHO, an amp costing more than the 650's themselves is what it will take to make those gems really come to life!

You can get into a DIY Dynalo for cheap. Less than $150 bucks. Might be a good starting point. Cranks the 650's very cleanly. Plenty of them around.
