HD-600 or 650 for Corda Opera? | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

Okay, so I'm facing this dilema: 180 Euros for HD-600s or 280 Euros for HD-650 to pair up with a Corda Opera?

Is the 100 Euro difference worth it? I'm 100% positive that I am a Senn 580/600/650, ever since I've been far from my 580s my life has made no sense. Beyer, Grado, AT... nothing will cut it for me!

did you think the HD580 were too light on bass or somewhat bright. if so, go for the HD650. if you just want a refined 580, get the 600.

From what I remember, the 600s were way too light on bass -- didn't sound natural at all. If you like Senns, definitely go for the 650s. I'd pick up a pair for myself but I'd rather wait and see what their new offering will be for 2008, since they are pretty much a downgrade from the D5000.
