[Super-Gonzo]

on a sennheiser hd-600,580 connector, of the 2 pins at the headphone end of the cable, which is signal and which is ground?

Putting together a custom cable, based on the original connectors, and forgot to check which pin was which before shrinking the heatshrink (probably the beer wasn't helping my construction skills tonight.)

Anybody know?

The larger pins on each connector are ground.

thanks beamrider! That'll save me a ton of time... I was gonna have to rip apart my work to figure out which was which.

The funny thing is, I remember thinking to myself, "man, I should really check the wires on this connector before putting the heatshrink on" ...oops.

hehehe, I always forget little things like that, like putting the heatshrink on the wires before soldering.........DOH!
