I'm not a total newbie to audio in general, but I wanted opinions on how good this combo will sound. I have the hd 595 set and I use them with my iPhone 4s and iPad. Until last week i also used an old DIY cmoy amp I bought off of eBay for 40 bucks a few years back and a fiio l7 lod cable. I've read a few reviews and done some googling, now time to put it to the head fi ers!

If the CMoy amp was of the generally good quality that is found on eBay (which is pretty good for the $$), you might not find much of an improvement going to the A10.  The A10 is a warm, fun sounding amp, similar to most of the CMoy amps -- it is not as detail oriented as the Fiio E11 or the iBasso amps. 
 
I've not heard the HD 595, but if it falls in the typical Senn house sound of warm and wide and smooth, then the A10 amp might make it even warmer.  If that's what you want, then it will be OK.  The Fiio E11 is a stronger, more detailed amp, if that is what you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply! I decided to just replace my broken lod cable and keep my little cmoy until I can get a bit more capital and invest in one of the ibasso amps!
