I'm having a hard time seeing what's going on in that photo...did you just cut the plug off the end of the 580 cable and place the wires in their respective spots?
I don't understand why people would take the risk of damaging a discontinued and incredibly expensive headphone. Surely if you can afford a k1000, you can buy an expensive, non-risky, and much better amp for it.
I used to run the T-Amp with my K1000s
Then I became scared that it would fry my K1000s after reading that post(it seems like they never cleared up exactly why either, just speculation)
T-Amp certainly is one of the best deals in audio.. makes everything else look like scams!
If it wasn't for the potential fry'age of my K1000s, I'd still be using the T-Amp
T-amp is certainly amazing
Guys seriously, bluemoon audio did a review of the Super T-amp and they say it's an amazing deal even if it does have a few faults(power supply etc.). I'd say if you use a speaker amp for headphones you should only use 600 ohm headphones. Now I can't wait to get mine.
