HD 515 vs HD485 vs HD280 pro

hi guys.. i'm new here and this would be my 1st post.. i've searched all the forum for this question but at last i decide to ask myself.. so which of these headphone is best for my ipod? sound quality and comfort is my main priority.. my former px100 makes my ear in pain after long term usage..

280 pros are quite clampy if you don't like it.

I hear 485s beat 515s for both comfort and sound quality.

I'd potentially look at other brands too - Audio Technica's AD700 is near that price range and an absolutely excellent can.

I have only owned the HD280pro. I hated them. They were uncomfortable and they had bad sound quality, IMO.

I've owned the HD280 and HD485. The HD485 is a much better headphone. The only reason to pick the HD280 over it is if you need a closed headphone. When I got my HD580 and did a head to head comparison with the HD485, I found the HD485 was just a small step down with a little bloated, less detailed bass than the HD580.

Probably the 485... The 515 has been said to lack bass. Though the 485 has been said to have an over-abundance of it..
