My large, 110 pound American Bulldog found a chew toy out of my Sennheiser HD439. I am looking fit a new pair, but am divided between the 449 and 439.
I loved my 439s, I did poke a small hole in the tape for just a tiny bit more bass. I loved the different cords, and how comfortable they were. (I did a complete review on the review thread)
I am also considering the m50s. And sennheiser hd518, but I'm not sure about open headphones.
My music of choice has a large range: classical (usually Wagner), indie rock, bless, sublime, fun, Mumford and sons, red hot chili peppers, Boyce avenue, and tons if acoustic guitar solos.
I also would need them to be portable, but still perform well for home use (guitar).
