hey guys, i have a problem with my sennheiser hd-25's.  whenever the cable coming directly out of the jack is ever so slightly bent, the music stops coming out of one of the earcups. this means i constantly have to tweak the jack, which is coming to be quite annoying.

this doesnt seem like a problem that should come with 200 dollar headphones

. so, i was wondering what could be wrong with them and if i should recable them? or if there is an easier way to fix this problem?thanks in advance!!

It does sound like the wiring might be damaged near the jack.

I doubt it's a quality issue though. If you put too much strain on the cable near any headphone's jack the same thing will probably happen.

Is it still under warranty? Maybe the retailer or Sennheiser themselves can sort something out for you?

check also the quality of the jack. I don't have a senn yet, but i know that my hp jack out of my comp system is moot and it fails like that.
