I saw these on Kickstarter and thought they looked great. Handcrafted with bamboo with each speaker apparently taking weeks to make.

There are only 6 days left until the campaign is over. It is over 70% of the way funded. Expected to ship in November/December of this year.
 
Prices range from 219 USD to 287 USD excluding shipping from France (I think) for the Hazang Bé (AKA the smaller one) and 332 USD to 443 USD for thr Hazang (AKA the bigger one). They also offer pairs of each of the speakers for a deal.
 
What are your guys' thoughts? I'm interested in what you guys think how the choice of using bamboo will affect its acoustics.I'm a bit worried about its durability to be honest. No experience in bamboo except for bamboo chairs.
