  the esw9 is very mid heavy lke the w3000, with the W3 being much more refined ofc. So I'd think a ws9 and w1000x would compliment each other nice, 

lovely, i have decided to buy EW9 as well :3, my Bestfriend (the nerd) told me to buy it, "u buy it or u gonna regret " well, very convince when u saw his face and how he was saying these words.. my wallet.....anyway, gonna have a lot fun with these portable ATH headphones..
