Just got my havis and connected to my LG GPro. It sound really good compared to my KC06A but I also find it harsh on treble. I have tried all stock tips, KC06A's tips and also T1E's tips but none of them give me the best seal. I just purchased some spiral dot tips size L because i have size M and they doesn't fit well.
BTW, how the topping nx1 compared to Fiio Q1/E11K? I'm looking for a dac/amp that can drive the havis.

Hmmm.. I've never considered the Havi's treble to be harsh. That's when listening to it:
1. Straight out of my windows laptop
2. Straight from xduoo X3
3. Out of xduoo x3 + topping NX1
4. Out of xduoo x3 + ibasso D14.
At best, the Havi's treble is a little rolled off.
About the NX1, it is an amp only. No DAC
I don't find them to be even remotely harsh in the treble either. Bad quality files, to little power or/and bad seal would be factors to rule out before making any final conclusions....

I have the LG Pro. You need to use JetAudio Plus. It has a 24band EQ. You can turn down -3db the 1.8khz and 9Khz it it will smooth it out. Actually that will smooth out any IEM. The foam comply tips will reduce the treble a lot too. I can send it to you if you like.

Hey guys.. Welcome your new member
I don't know if i am writing correct way (i will go through the rules and guideline once i get some free time) or not. Here is what i wanted to ask-
My KC06A died a week ago.. I am in search of a new quality budget iem.. I really liked the mid forward sound of my kc06a and adequate bass. Now i am torn between UE 600 and havi b3 pro1 both of which are available at a very good deal ($45 for ue 600 and $50 for havi). I really wish to go for havi but i am concerned about the power needed to drive those power hungry beasts. I'd be using Hidizs Ap100 without any amp. Do you all think it'd be sufficient to get the best out of them?

Yes, yes, yes Ap100 will power them easily. Go for the Havi. UE600 is inferior to Havi B3.

Yeah, the B3 is better than the UE600 in pretty much every way. Havi all the way.
