If you can live with low-ish volumes on some players.. Yes it is indeed! A little to low volume on my ipod classic 6th gen ( i dont want to go 100% volume on the player ) A bit louder out of a sansa clip+ / zip / fuse.

Tried my friend's Havi B3 Pro numerous times on my Note 3. It simply can't drive it well enough. I assume it won't be different on your phone. I LOVE how it sounds if you have at least a portable amp. i.e. FiiO E6 or E11. But it's just a bit of a letdown for the price if your source can't drive it, and it's why I decided not to buy one anymore. My headphones at home sound way better anyway. I just use IEMs outside. Might as well get a TTPod T1E instead if you don't have a powerful portable DAC.

+1. I use the B3 on the go and while my headphones do sound better and I use them when home anyway, I wouldn't totally say they are way better, only moderately better and a little more refined in some aspects.
