Havi B3 Pro-1 Impressions Thread

I've been listening a lot to the latest Morrissey album with the T1E's for the last days and really enjoyed it. Today I'm listening to it with the B3's for the first time and it feels like coming home again To me they're on a completely different level!

Thats the thing ...dont go to shop to try out new stuffs ...no problem ...today me met up with SyedZ2ez4 and had a blast trying out gears that we own ...me tried his UE900 and ATH CKR9 ....blew me mind with details clarity separation ...left me jaw open ...of cuz they are way over what me prepared to spend ....

He was also very impressed with Topping and Little Bear B-2 amp and these two KZ model ...R3 and CM9 ...

Then we went to audio shop ...this is where its dangerous ..tried out Beyerdynamic Custom Pro One ...this model has 4 level of bass level adjustable and SM HP200 ...now me keep thinking about them ..niot good for the soul ..keep stirring disturbing thoughts ...the witch will smite me with thunder n lightning if i get any of them ...kaboom ...me turn to ash...

Which iem from wokeis iem collection did you enjoy the most? No double favorites here, lol.

Which phone from syedZ's collection did you prefer?

Too much ...nooooo ...be happy to tell you ...between UE900 and ATH CKR9 ....mmmmmmm

It will have to be CKR9 ....the separation and imaging is mind blowing ....very precise and you can actually hear the direction where all the instruments are coming from ...details is awesome and really minute .... But the tips used was not right ...but when gently press against me ears ...the bass is so tight and the attack on a drum solo tracks that me used to test bass ...sounding very real like you are standing in front of the drummer ...but most of all the sound signature of CKR9 is very in your face kind of presentation ..some may not like it but it rock me boat .

UE900 has similar signature as CKR9 but the bass level is slightly one notch lower in term of body and thump ...the high were wee bit harsh compared to CKR9 ...

But me supposed a bit of EQ would helps but me dont play much with EQ ...so thats me mini assessment after spending an hour plus with these two iem ...

The presentation these are pretty interesting.  Certain instruments sound distant while others feel like they are in your head.  It's pretty impressive for an iem, though it still is no match compared to the size of full sized headphones.

It was a blast meeting you man. This guy here is one humble guy people, I repeat one humble guy! I am glad you like the ckrs 

 But tbh meeting you has changed my perspective towards budget iems and amp. Seriously I was quite surprised how enjoyable they sound especially with the nx1 and little bear amp. I really like how you can easily swap chips for diff signatures. I couldnt spend alot of time on the r3 and cm9 but they are not bad. Both has great vocals with good amount of soundstage. But from my limited time of listening I'd give the r3 a slightly higher rating than cm9, it has a more detailed treble. The soundstage was what impressed me I am wondering how they compare with b3, I am beginning to think soundstage wise is better than my ostry.

LOL i just realised you asked which i enjoyed most out of WOKEI'S collection. I enjoyed KZ R3,CM9 and the LP2 (momentum like headphone). If I had to pick 1 IEM then it has to be R3 (Solely for soundstage purposes)

R3 may not be the most clear of iem or separation like ckr 9. But I thought it performed good enough for me to enjoy especially with an amp. I was listening to it from Wokei's sansa clip+ little bear b2 ( I do not know which opamp chip) + sillver interconnect cable. Definitely has the warmth in its signature because I preferred it from the sansa clip + that amp rather than jst my dx90 I dunno why lol Wokei was playing his tracks, I dunno which but they sounded really good. I can hear very good instrument separation and intruments playing at the end of the room and some sorts but bear in mind we stayed in a place that was quite noisy too so I couldn't hear all the details. But considering the price its a no brainer for me. Lets wait for Wokei's impression on the b3 compared to the r3.

Wokei is a nice lad lol Cool guy he is, more knowledgeable than me in this hobby since I am new yet he is very humble too. 
Great news guys, I wasn't expecting but the postman just arrived with the B3 along with penon iem but the bad news is I gotta go class now and I have evening classes too. Damn, will let them burn in first till night. * Feeling Excited
