  Actually, that smiling is annoying and out of place within chosen genre of music - metal. I would have much preferred  her as "spitfire" in some dark leather & stuff like that, followed by the outro as in this video - showing she also has talent for acting. But, one step at a time.
 
Second thing - not gonna happen. Whatever IEMs I am using during monitoring live concerts in the same acoustical space with performers, I use them UNDER

This remedy is for cutting down all the stage noise and hearing what the iem delivers? But why don't you use a closed headphone instead (I assume isolation of closed headphones are not appropriate for your work)? How about the clamping force?

I too like chicks smiling - better than spitfires - it just is not in the context of the song.
 
I guess 1 second of Peltor Optime III on your head would give you all the answers you need - it isolates much better than any closed headphone; add to that isolation of IEMs - and we are talking 50-80 dB attenuation, depending on frequency. This much isolation allows for monitoring at as close as possible to the real SPL level.
Otherwise, you have to turn the level in whatever headphones/IEMs used UP until sufficiently high
SIGNAL ( signal in headphones ) : NOISE ( actual sound of the performers )
is reached; the lower the attenuation of "noise", the higher you have to turn up the level in headphones/IEMs, leading to errors. Ear has sensitivity approx to the Fletcher-Munson curve http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fletcher%E2%80%93Munson_curves
and if monitoring at any level sufficiently removed from the real one, it usually leads to coloured recording.
It directly affects the decision where/how to position the microphone(s).
 
Not to mention the danger of ear damage; renaissance choir *can* be monitored with say + 10-20 dB level without threatening hearing damage ( while producing coloured recording etc ) ; how about some heavy metal band - 130 dB plus in headphones 

 ?
 
And Havi B3 ( with crosfeed and appropriate bass boost ) , even under mufflers, has the best minimundus soundstage I have heard yet. It is better than most full size cans in this regard.

On the firs page of this thread it was explained. If  you have received the Pro1 there should be a paper red dot on the transparent box of the B3's. There is no any other known method to distinguish them apart from the sound differences (also explained on the first post).

I am putting the photo here as well (you can see the little red dot on the box, although it seems pinkish now because of the Photoshop filters I used)

I ordered the pro 1, and, going by this, have received one of the others from penon audio, is there anything I can do?

I will add that mine did come with a single set of foam and dual flange tips, and a shirt clip. Plus, the plug perfectly fits an otterbox case

And if the pro 1's are better than these, that's amazing. That Toul song was an eargasm, my Senn HD428's couldn't compare! I'm using the foam tips which were the most comfortable and the sound is fine. The bass is just so tight but not lacking at all, my fiio e11 did add a lot but I don't even find it necessary. But I do hate that these ruin some songs, when you go from a high quality recording to something lesser, it ruins it. The song that makes me say this right now is Polyamorous by Breaking Benjamin, doesn't sound right after the last track which was something by Korn.

I think it would be cool if baycode added a list of recommended songs to the original post, just an idea. My addition would be Hurt by Johnny Cash, I've never heard it on anything and not loved it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve a listen on everything

The proi is better at metal and fast genres ..the proii has slightly longer bass decay which makes it sound darker ...but both are highly capable iem.

Well people on here said it's not a bass head IEM, and IMO there's no reason this couldn't be so I'm thinking mine might be the 2 or EB or whatever it was. Regardless, I'm amazed, these destroy my $50 sennheiser circumaural HD428s that i loved before.

Hi I'm just trying to decide between Havi b3 pro1 or pro2, maybe someone here can help. I play guitar for our band and we use Sennheiser IE4s on stage, I do like the darker sounding in ears but I also need and like the highs ( I play a Taylor acoustic steel string known for highs). This is now my dilemma, the IE4s are close but they seem distorted or muddy at times. I have UE FFA I 10 that the world raves about, sound stage very good but all highs! We all have 31 band EQ on all In ears so I can go with the pro1 and add bottom if I need to or I can go with the pro2 and subtract bass if I need to. Can someone point me in the right direction.........

Could anybody suggest a portable DAC+AMP combo which works well with Havi B3? I prefer soundstage, a bit more bass with < 150$ price. I'm thinking of Fiio E17, E07K.
