Not a huge headphone user, but when I do use them I do want to hear quality, crisp quiet, the way it is intended. So I told myself I would look up the Bose 700's and check them out. Then I saw the price tag of $399. Ok, I know I have not been in the crowd lately on headphones, but really? 400 bucks? Is there really some new amazing technology that has been recently introduced? Then started looking at other premium models like the Sony 1000 and that has a pretty hefty price tag also. Apparently I'm way behind the curve here. I've checked some Sennheiser's, Sony's, AKG, Bose, etc...and there are SO many on Amazon it makes my head swivel. NOT interested in the $50 ones at Amazon but maybe someone can at least point me in the right direction.
