I've been an audiocubes affiliate for about three years, and through my referrals they've sold about US$20K worth of headphones and I've earned $750 in commission. In December 2007 I was told affiliate payments would go out early in 2008, but they didn't. In Feb 2009 they told me they didn't have the means to pay the affiliates due to the economic downturn, but maybe at the end of 2009. Come 2010 and there's still no payments.
I'm not sure if they're dishonest and lying, or telling the truth and they're just managing to stay in business. If they're telling the truth I have to wonder how they could stay in business for the two years since they told me they couldn't afford the payments.
Is anyone else an audiocubes.com affiliate? Has anyone been paid? I wonder if there's any point looking into the legal aspect of non-payment, given they're in Japan.
