I use to have a rio carbon but it broke(commom problem I found out). So I upgraded to the T9,now Im having a problem setting the EQ right for mostly rock music(The rock EQ is very poor)

What do each of these control?

250-

500-

1k-

2k-

4k-

8k-

16k-

And also from fellow users is this a very good sounding mp3 device? I ordered some PX100's to test it cause my current headphones are a pair of 20 dollar panasonics.

How does it compare to the rios's?

60 is bass and then progressively upward toward 16K which is treble.

So 60 is bass and 16k is treble, anyone know the rest exactly?

I just got my PX100's and they do improve the sound a lot.

P.S: Do they sound better after burn in?
