I was in Best Buy the other day and happened across this album. It was priced at $9.99 as some kind of artist introduction deal.

The album is great. Pete Yorn has a kinda David Gray quality about him with a Duncan Sheik sultriness, coupled with a David Byrne twang.

He writes both the music and lyrics for this album and I highly recommend it, especially at $9.99. It is definitely an album that appreciates with time.

I heard one of his songs on the radio. Sounded like Eddie Vedder to me. Kinda mumbly alternative rock-style. Sounded pretty good, though. I've been looking around for a used copy cheap. When I find one, I'll check it out.

Just bought this album cause I was bored and it was cheap. Picked it up along with new Britney and the Strokes. (Yes, Britney, got a problem?) Very interesting. Sux that the stupid "Columbia" logo is larger than the name of the artists, but whatever :p
