I reformatted my computer last night and finally upgraded from XP to Windows 7 after many years.
Anyways, I seem to be having a problem with my 0404 PCI not working. The drivers are working fine and the device is being recognized by Windows sound. Patchmix DSP on the other hand seems to be acting up. Once the EMU splash screen shows up, it just freezes on the "Loading Core Presets..." step and doesn't go anywhere after that.
Would there be any way to bypass having to use Patchmix DSP or is there a known fix for it? Is there another mixer program that can manage my audio? I'd really hate to have to go back to onboard sound until Creative decides to update their software. (It took several months for Vista beta drivers to be released)
