I'm curious, and probably impatient as well, because I currently have the updated apple earbuds that came with the 2G Nano, but have been waiting on my remixes to arrive for a couple weeks now.

I'm wondering if anyone has made a comparison between these two, since the new apple buds sound significantly better than the old ones, but I don't know where the remixes stand.

So, how much better sounding would the remixes be over the new apple buds?

I have the updated apple buds........still in the box from my second gen nano. Never thought to unwrap them and give them a listen, honestly.

actually, they're not that bad! at least compared to the bloaters that the previous model were. as far as earbuds go, i personally haven't heard better!!!

Listening right now, I hear no significant difference between the 1st and 2nd generation buds. Both sound horrible and muddy (completely lack of resolution and definition).

not much love for the pack-in buds i'm seeing... they don't sound bad to my ears but then i haven't tried the remixes yet.

compared to the mx400, they have less mids but punchier bass.
