has anybody used hd800 for gaming? whaqt amp do you use? for pc and console gaming with it..

An Astro Mix-amp ($130), will give you headphone surround sound, with a gaming console (optical connection).
But as the Sennheiser HD800s are 300-Ohms, I'm guessing you will need to daisy chain an external headphone amplifier to the Mix-amp.
(should also be able to use the head amp with your PC)
Not sure what add-on mic you can get that works with the Astro Mix-amp.
