I want to buy a SONY 818. I know sony has new series coming out but I cannot afford them. I thought with the new product line, sony 818 will be on clearance sale. However, right now it seems that Amazon is the one of the very few places that carry sony 818, and the price is not any lower than before. I am wondering if it is because sony 818 are sold out elsewhere? I want to wait for a price drop but afraid that they may also be sold out at amazon. Any suggestions on whether or not I should buy it now? Thanks.

Well the new one hasn't even came out in the states yet. I think it'll be at least a few months until the price drops but when it does, amazon will probably the fastest and most reliable to drop price.

My local Fry's has close to 20+ of the A818s in stock as of yesterday.
