Im OVERJOYED!!! After rockin out to basshead cans regularly since 2001, I've got a pair of NOS SR-40s coming my way!!!

Since they are discontinued and therefore somewhat rare, should I even consider a star-quad cable mod?

Cant wait to hear the Iron Maiden, Queensryche and Dreamtheater on these guys. I like my KSC75... but its a bit sloppy sounding at times.

Keep them as a collectors item and buy a set of sr-60s. You'll enjoy better sound and have a rare set of grados in mint condition.
