Currently, Sijosae is studying Mechanical Engineering at the world famous POSTECH University in Pohang, Korea. Only extremely intelligent and highly capable Korean students get to study free of charge at POSTECH.
Read below a few details from a Scientific American magazine article.
Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH)
--Fully funded by POSCO, a huge Korean steel company.
--Aim: To help Korea advance into the 21st century!
--USA equivalent: MIT in Cambridge, Mass.
--Only 300 brainy undergraduates accepted per year.
--Full scholarship. Students do NOT pay for anything!
--These are the smartest students in Korea (1%).
--POSTECH student/teacher ratio: 6 to 1.
--Total undergraduate students: 1,200.
--Total graduate students: 1,600.
--Degrees: BS, Masters and PhDs.
--Asia Week Magazine: POSTECH is the best science and technology university in Asia.
