If you listen to folk/bluegrass, you may want to check out Hands Across The Water. The album includes selections by Jerry Douglas (Union Station fame), Jackson Browne, John Prine, Bluer Mearle, Mindy Smith etc. The album not only includes some of the most beautiful songs in the genre, but the proceeds also benefit children affected by the Asian Tsunami of 2004.

Great find Pat. It wasn't available on Rhapsody when I saw your post this morning, but it sounds like a great collection. When I was thwarted this morning I decided to check out some Bela Fleck instead. I liked it a lot! There is some real bluegrassy stuff but there are also a lot of different styles on different discs. Check it out if you haven't heard him before.

PATB and Voltron:

Check this out: Strength in Numbers, The Telluride Sessions. You get Jerry Douglas and Béla Fleck at the same time, as well as Sam Bush (mandolin), Edgar Meyer (bass), and Mark O'Connor (fiddle).

One of my all-time favorites.
