I got 2 of the smallest Hammond Extruded Aluminum cases, 1455C801 & 1455C1201. Thinking that the C801 will fit one batt & my CMoy board fine, and the C1201 will fit 2 9V batts and my CMoy board.

I can fit my PCB & one 9V bat in the C801 fine..but the C1201 is too thin to fit 2 batts side-by-side.

What Hammond cases do you use for fitting two 9V's side-by-side?

I think the J1201 is the smallest that is capable of that... I know tomb has been able to just squeeze a pimeta and 2 9v rechargeables into one, and I've got a pimeta with a AAA battery pack in one. There are a few newer sizes with the plastic endpieces that might be able to fit a pair of 9v.
