Yeah, B&H Photo ... is very good.
I placed my order late at night on the Feb 6,
and they arrived at 5:05 p.m. on, you bet,
Valentine Day! So from New York City to
San Francisco Bay Area, California in a week!

I've been burning-in the babies since Valentine Day.
They sound a bit better and I don't have an amp. I connetct them to my CombbridgeSoundWorks stereo receiver ($100) which is conected to my Pioneer DV-578A cd/dvd/sacd/dvd-a player.
Those babies need a better amplification!

I keep my fingers crossed for all you guys waitng for Your babies.

See you at the Winter Olympic Games

Heh, looks like I also recieved mine on Valentine's Day, from B&H Photo, and am waiting on my first amp the (PA2v2). To think I was only intentionally trying to get a Senn. 280 Pro.

As others have mention before me, thanks Head-fi!

Just a friendly update. During the first
few days the 3D sound was flat like
an 'Ironing Board' and the sounstage was
narrow, but after a week of burning-in
everything improved. Now, my DT880s deliver 3D sound with a nice soundstage.
They also play louder and the quality of sound is better.
But clearly they need more burn-in time.

How are you liking them (if at all) with orchestral classical music? It's their strong point IMO, you can't find better realism.

I haven't tried them with orchestral
classical music yet. I think I've listened
to classical piano music a little. Still to early
to judge their sound and I need an amp!
I'm using a simple CambridgeSoundWorks stereo receiver.
