I have to keep my hair cut fairly short to give optimal seal of pads to head for maximum bass

serious : no, you have nothing at all to worry about, unless you rip hair out of your head whenever you take off your cans

joke : but the one exception to that rule, as we all know, is the triports. Those extra ports not only give utterly ridiculous sound, but they seem to have some kind of hair-loosening powers. After only 5 minutes, you will be so shocked and surprised that you paid ONLY $150 for them, that you'll start tearing your hair out in joy!

My portaPros occasionally rip out single strands of hair, but I usually wear a hat so that isn't a problem.
