Hello,

How do I activate the optical output on my H140 in Rockbox? I used to use the optical out with the normal iriver firmware but I just installed rockbox and I do not know how to get the optical out to turn on.

I have H120 with rockbox installed which I believe the function is same as yours.

just go to menu --> general setting --> playback --> optical output is there. two options for on or off.

I am assuming you are using the latest version of Rockbox software.

Press the last button on the right side to access the settings menu.
Go to
General Settings/Playback/Optical Out Menu

Change it from No to Yes

lol it took me good 30min to find it the 1st time. then took me 40min to find out how to turn it off.
