I have a h120 iRiver up for sale in the source for sale section.
My question is on other ih120's for sale they talk about how much
battery life is left. What is the best way to test this? I turned on
the radio and turned it up to about 50% It has been running for
9 hours so far plus I have on the SRS. There are 3 bars left on battery.
Is this the correct way to test?

Use it normally with mp3 files, playing full albums one by one, disabling EQ/SRS. Rockbox has a battery calibration/test feature so you could try that.

In rockbox - and honestly you should be using rockbox on an h120 as it's better than the OF in all ways - just charge up the battery, launch the batterybench plugin, choose a bunch of files to play, turn on repeat, and set it aside.

But Rockbox doesn't have SRS or DRM WMA support!

If I keep it I will put rockbox on it . It is clean and ready to go.
Is there a chance I will mess it up putting rockbox on it. I have an iMac
will that make a difference?

Just use rbutil (rockbox installer) and you should be fine.

Yup saves the buyer doing it themselves and shows you know more about the product then the typical person. Shame you're not in the UK I've been looking at buying another 120/140
