Fight Club all the way. One of my favourite movies still. And watched it a hundred times.
Imho 300 is just stupid.

That's fine. I'm interested to hear which movies you guys think are better? I never thought of Fight Club as the greatest ever, but let me know if you think otherwise. I see our martin is turning this thread into a one stop theatre.

I liked Clint Eatswood's Gran Torino. It had a bit of the typical guy's movie, with the whole anti-hero character, but it didn't limit to an overused formula IMO.

I can't think of a "guy" movie that wouldn't be based on a certain level of shallowness. Something like Rambo maybe.

One of my favorites LizardKing. I think it's one of those movies that goes for all generations today.

Yeah that's pretty much what I was going for pigmode. Rambo is the iconic guy's movie for violence alone but I would always enjoy a well developed plot over rapid fire machine guns. The deeper the story line goes the more it'll feel like a thriller but i think a great guy movie could find a balance between communitcation and blowing things up.
