I want to take the drivers out of my vomitous old pair of V600s so I can try wearing the shell over my KSC-50s (for the isolation). Has anyone tried ripping one of these things apart?

You have nothing to lose here when you gut the infamous MDR-V[size=xx-small]CRAP[/size]600 headphones. But don't expect your KSC-50's to sound even remotely similar if you put the V600's shell over the KSC-50 earclips. They'll most likely sound worse - or possibly MUCH worse - than if you had left the KSC-50's alone (with no V600 shell).

Or instead of hacking them apart you could just sell the v600 on ebay or something; you'd probably get a decent amount of money for them....
