I bought a modi magni stack and set it up. Comparing the sound to my onboard audio i can't tell any difference. I plugged the modi via usb to my pc, via digital output to my soundblaster z and via digital output to my mobo to compare, it didnt make a difference in sound, then i plugged my headphones directly to the jack in the back of the motherboard it didn't make a difference either. Am i missing something? I am listening on a pair of hd 598cs

My experience is that you don’t wanna do AB testing. Listen exclusively to ur Schiit stack for a week then switch back to on board audio and see if there’s a difference
