I believe it's popular in Korea and Japan. And personally, I think it's disturbing. Civilized nations, skinning frogs live, eating live shrimps while it suffocates. My opinion notwithstanding, it would be slightly hypocritical for me to say that since my livelihood is in a sushi restaurant...

Some of you got close, but I doubt you've seen this exact one. You eat it after cooking it like above picture.

A very popular dish in Korea, but even in Korea, there is only one city where you can find real live ones so you can eat them fresh, fresh. I'm telling you, this things tastes so GOOOOOOODDD!!!

Many of you thought of sashimi. Oh, yeah, there's some fabulous sashimi in Korea at beach towns, too. Fresh, live fish sashimi'd in front of you, and much cheaper than the nasty frozen sashimi in the States
