I already own a GTXP.

Is there enough reason to add a Revo to my system for my headphones? Will the Revo be a big upgrade? I will probably keep the GTXP installed for it's breakout and for games and my Klipschs. Does the Revo have a headphone out?

And where should I buy one of these? I know it is $90 @ newegg

Quality wise the Revo is better than the GTXP but I don't think using it's output directly for headphones is that good. I found an iPod sounds better when using porta pro, V6, and ex70s. It's best to use it with an amp.

So, no, it would not be a worthwhile upgrade for headphones. Are you suggesting I use an amp with my GTXP?

I wouldn't use an amp for the GTXP since it's not as high quality. I'd get the Revo first, then amp for that, then new headphones.

hmm by then it is turning into a $150+ upgrade

I guess I will just look into a SACD/DVD-A player and amp.

Players that play SACD and DVD-A are $$$$. Only one I can think of is the Onkyo DV-SP800. It's 800
