The GS1000i and the GS-1 is a match made in heaven.  Bass light??  More like Bass right.  Guys check your amp and source both will have to be up to par for these phones.  Both GS's works really great together.

I found they do have bass presence but it does not give you an impact or punch. No visceral feeling. It's there but it's just weak.
