Problem Solved!
I left my amp on all day while i was at work. Came home and plugged in my cans check for hum - none. Booted my computer hum - none! Its just gone.
I left my amp on all day (the NAD usually sounds better once its warmed for an hour or two).
I now realise what the issue must be. It seems as if the amp doesn't play well when switched off. I know this goes against the grain of solid state electronics and is more in the real of the tube amps but the hum is gone. Thats the important thing. Sorry if i wasted anyones time I was totally confused by the issue. So now the amp is staying on !
