(question originally posted in the Amplifiers section, but didn't get a response.... hoping y'all can help)

Would appreciate some assistance from the sages of this board.

I've been enjoying the MAD Ear+ for ~ 2 months so far. It's got a lovely, clean sound. Has not had a problem until recently when I upgraded my source. Got the Philips DVD963SA recently. What a difference in sound from my other sources!

Unfortunately, the appearance of the 963 coincided with the appearance of hum that is readily noticable when the amp pot is at ~10:00. Hum disappears when connected to my old source.

OK, it's a ground loop problem. Any suggestions for how to fix it? Do I just add another RCA adapter to the IC that breaks the loop?

Thanks in advance!

Bruce
