Hi,

The cables on my UM2's are almost completely green. I guess this doesn't affect the audio quality, but is there anything I can do cosmetically?

Also, I wrapped a paper clip around the body so that it comes up like the memory wire on the E5 or S.fi 5 pros because I find that more comfortable. But I'm just wrapping the wire around the paper clip and eventually it becomes unwound. Is there some sort of thin, smooth removable plastic wrapping I can pickup to keep the assembly together?

Once the greening starts, you can't remove it. That having been said, you can either try to hide it, or send it back to westone for a new pair with a black (and not greenable) cord. They do regard the clear cord's greening as a manufacturing defect after all... so you could give them a call.

EDIT: As for memory wire... never used it before, but having seen it in use I can say I think looping the loose cord over your head to be more comfy. Just my opinion of course.
